Experienced as a controller, staff officer, and executive facility manager in a variety of Southern California airport VFR Towers and IFR Radar Control Facilities he has a recognized record of achievement in negotiating fresh ideas and implementing new methodologies to mitigate aviation noise and streamline air traffic flows. Jim is accomplished in media and community outreach through skills developed as a FAA Western-Pacific Regional Administrator's Field Representative/Local Coordinator for Central California's Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Proven as a critical thinker with a positive, can-do attitude and unique skill set, he applies an understanding of relationship structures, skilled team-building and an atmosphere of openness and collaboration among stakeholders.
